Currently and TpT SALE!!!!!!!!!!

It's hard to believe that I haven't blogged in 3 weeks!  

But it's even harder to believe that my summer is almost over!  

Better late than never to link up with Farley's Currently Linky!

Listening:  Our air conditioner has been on the fritz lately.  It has frozen up numerous times and got up to around 85 degrees in our house!  In the Oklahoma heat that is absolutely NO GOOD!  We had a really nice guy come out and service it and it's been working perfectly since then!  Thank you, Lord!

Loving/Thinking:  I created my first ever teacher binder this week!  It has way more pages than I thought and I am almost done with it!  I have a few more pages I need to add in and then I want to get it printed!

Wanting:  I desperately want to get into my school and get my classroom ready!  We are moving into a brand new building and it is not quite done yet.  In fact, we have no idea when we will be able to get in there. My coworkers and I are super frustrated but we know it will all happen in good time.  We may have to spend the first week back in our old building, so that will be crappy, but at least we will have a beautiful new building to look forward to!

Needing:  So, I had to have surgery this week to have a tumor on one of my parathyroid glands removed.  Long story short, I was producing 4x as much calcium as I should have been because of my tumor.  Now that it's removed my body is basically calcium starved and my limbs keep falling asleep!  Thank goodness it's not the painful needle-like feeling, but it's quite uncomfortable.  Hopefully my body will begin regulating calcium properly and my 'asleep' feeling will go away asap!

I am so conflicted about going back to school.  I love my summer and hanging out with my baby girl but I am super excited about going back to school, meeting my new students and seeing my friends every day!  Hopefully our first day back will be a great day since it's my birthday!

Currently July!

I literally cannot believe it's already July!  Where has the first half of summer gone?!  I guess it's time to link up with Farley for her Currently Linky Party!

Listening- The past 2 weeks or so my daughter has been refusing to go to sleep at night.  Now she is starting it with nap time and I have no idea what to do!  She has never done this before. It is super frustrating and super sad because I HATE listening to her whine, but I know she needs the rest. Oye.  #mommyproblems

Loving- I am in LOVE with my newest product on TpT, my Circle Paper Pack FREEBIE!  It has 12 images that can be used as digital or printed backgrounds for almost anything!  I am probably going to use them to make my next set of task cards!  Go check 'em out while they're free HERE!

Thinking- I am bringing a dessert to our 4th of July get-together this year and I am pretty stoked to spend some time on Pinterest looking for the perfect item to make!  I love desserts and fireworks!

Wanting- I want to make some time to pick up my book and do some serious reading because I really like it so far.  If you haven't read Reconstructing Amelia yet, I highly suggest it!

Needing- Don't we always have laundry and dishes to do?  It seems like those two chores take up so much time every day.  Today I might just leave it alone and do some reading!  After all, it's not going anywhere but my book is due back on Thursday! LOL!

4th Plans- Going to my husband's aunt's house to swim and eat scrumptious food!  I can't wait!

Life As I Know It

I'm back! Currently and TpT!!!

Whew! It's been way too long since I've been on here.  I was obsessed for quite a while and then it seems like I just dropped off the face of the earth! I desperately need to do some catching up on some of my favorite blogs!

I think that the real reason I have not blogged much lately has been that I have had a really rough year so far.  My class is really tough and I have been working my little tail off to try to make things better!  What was wonderful was that my last two days before Thanksgiving Break were heavenly!  And because my students were so great we did some fun activities, made videos about the French and Indian war on Educreations, played Scoot, Bingo and had lots of iPad free time!  I'm trying to convince them that when they do what I ask I will reward them with fun activities!

This has been an incredible week.  Like I already said, my students were wonderful and Thanksgiving was great as well!  Spent a lot of quality time with my daughter and all of my other family members.  Got some things done around the house, got some Christmas shopping done and even took Olivia's Christmas pics today!  They are beautiful!

Currently September!!!!!

Wow! It's been way too long since I've blogged!  School and every day life has taken over and it's been crazy!  I'm so glad I logged on for Farley's Currently September Linky Party!

Here it is...

Listening:  My husband is obsessed with PC Gaming and plays almost every night!  Yes, it is super annoying sometimes, but I'm glad he has a hobby!  And reruns of Modern Family never get old!

Loving:  We finally got a tornado shelter!  Living in Oklahoma, and only 20 minutes from the path of the recent deadly Moore tornado, we decided we had to get one.  When 'nader season rolls around again I will have peace of mind, especially with my baby girl!

Thinking:  I want to start math centers in my classroom, but I really don't have the time to do it.  I don't have enough time in the day, and I don't have time to create them.  I've found some great ones on TpT but I have vowed not to spend any  more money on my classroom this year!  I would love any ideas you have about implementing them!

Wanting:  I desperately want my shows to come back on!  They all start this month and I cannot wait!  I am a tv addict.

Needing:  I am in great need of a massage!  I carry all my stress right between my shoulder blades and it is quite painful!  I also need just a whole day to get some things in my classroom organized that I haven't found the time to do yet!

<3 This month I want to plan an awesome date night for my husband's birthday.  So often we let the bothers of every day life take over and we forget to show each other how much we truly love one another.  I want to get to a point in school that I stop brining home things to do!  And I want to BLOG MORE!  I have been slacking lately and I really need to get fired up again!

My 1st Currently!

This evening I have spent so much time on the computer looking at all of your blogs! I have followed a ton of people and gotten a lot of great ideas.  I absolutely love this!  I stole this from this super awesome blogger at http://ohboy3rdgrade.blogspot.com because I saw a lot of other women doing it and I figured I would as well!  Thanks for the fun freebie!

I am really hoping to learn more about blogging and keep mine updated as much as possible with fun school stuff as soon as the year begins!  Only 18 days until the countdown to next summer begins! Oh, and 18 days until my 26th BIRTHDAY as well! :-)
