Today I am linking up with Run! Miss Nelson's Got the Camera! for her Saturday Snapshot linky party to tell you a little bit about my weekend!
Her first sparkler! Got the solo cup idea off of Pinterest, of course! #safetyfirst |
Her first time actually 'swimming' without anyone holding her! She did an incredible job! I couldn't believe it! |
To preface the next pic, I want to share the easy-peasy recipe for my favorite sweet/salty treat, "Patriotic Pretzels"!
1. Sort bags of M&M's. Put all the red and blue in a separate dish. (Time consuming, but
worth it because the red and blue look soooo cute for the 4th of July!!!)
2. Lay out pretzles on wax paper in a single layer.
2. Melt bakers chocolate. (Make sure you do it very slowly. I have never had good luck with
bakers chocolate and I over-heated the first batch I made.)
3. Drizzle melted chocolate over pretzels.
4. Sprinkle the sprinkles all over the pretzels.
5. Drop M&M's on the pretzels.
6. Let dry and devour the deliciousness!!!!!!
NOM NOM!!!!!!!! |
I was feeling lucky when I was at the store and just had to buy some scratch-offs! My feeling unfortunately didn't pan out... |
My ADORABLE 4th of July outfit! I got it at Target and it was sooo comfy! |
My super cute shoes I wore with my dress! These are seriously the most comfortable wedges I've ever owned! Love me some Payless sales! |
And of course I just had to get Baby O some cute shoes when I got my pair! The tennis shoes and sandals light up! |
My family and I had a fantastic 4th of July, with great friends, family, food and fireworks! I hope yours was fantastic as well!
Did you hit up any 4th of July sales?! Let me know in the comments!
Thanks!
Jamie
Too bad that scratch off wasn't a winner...a winning scratch off is one of the items on the scavenger hunt! Looks like you had a great holiday, and I love that sparkler idea!

Love your dress! Great find and your little girl is a doll. The red solo cup idea looks like it worked out wonderfully. I'm craving one of those pretzels. YUM Thanks for linking up. Great pictures
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun weekend you had!! I love the solo cup idea to keep her hands safe from the sparkler!!! Your outfit was so cute. I saw that dress at Target too, but I didn't end up getting it. I should have. :)

Those pretzels need to get in my belly. They sound so good! That dress looks precious on you! Love the shoes too. I haven't been in a Payless in forever. I always forget about it. I need to check that out!

The solo cup is SUCH a great idea! I don't have little ones, but if I ever do I know how to keep sparklers safe. Those pretzels look yummy! I made something similar this past Christmas.
